Elkinema was sired by the U.S. and Canadian National Champion Stallion, *Elkin++. Elkinema was a multi-champion in English Pleasure, Halter and Western Pleasure. He was known for his incredible "In your tent" disposition and showy attitude. He passed on a lot of his traits, great looks and fabulous disposition to his babies. Elkinema sadly died at the age of 23 in October of '97 due to colic.
